Animal Print is Back!
This is officially my first post on fashion! I realised I covered pretty much on every other category and fell back on my fashion posts *facepalm* really!
So a quick update as to what I’ve been wearing lately. As you know, trends are pretty much moving towards the autumn/fall collection. Colours are evolving from bright and quirky towards darker shades such as olive green, yellow, orange and definitely loads of brown.
Malaysia is a tropical country and it’s summer here all year long. But hey! That doesn’t mean you can’t find something from the fall collection. I went shopping recently and noticed there are plenty of clothes with animal prints that seems so IN right now. Who can agree with me that animal print has to be one of the sexiest trends of all time? Think of Fran Fine from The Nanny show. Old but classic!
Here I picked out a Leopard Print dress from Mango Malaysia. The dress is from their MNG Casual Collection. It has long sleeves, and the flowy fabric is made entirely from viscose cotton which makes it comfortable for the Malaysian heat. My favourite part is that it comes with a crossover design, meaning that it has a ribbon on the waist with tie closure. Fitting like these is great because it helps accentuate your figure.
Since the dress is the highlight, I kept the shoes, bags and accessories to a minimal. I paired it with red pumps to give that extra pop of colour, a classic vintage flap bag and rose gold hoops to match the shade of the dress.

So yes, animal prints are definitely to look out for this season. Just make sure the clothes you buy is cruelty-free, and the material is not animal-derived. You wouldn’t want to be Cruella De Vil now, would you? 😛
What do you guys think of this look? Are you in for animal print as well? Let me know in the comment section below!
Signing off for now,
